This is an amazing piece of work! You've done what I had been doing in the past but got frustrated. Too many CSO (now CSN:Z) maps to fix for AI bots, too many.aiw fine-tuning and too many overviews to create from scratch. I can only thank you. Do you have any plans to keep adding maps to this? Like, for example, the three zmabyss maps (converted to dm like I privately did a lot of time ago), dmunion or even the CS Beta maps? It would be awesome, but I understand that it could be a hell and very time consuming.

You even fixed the black texture issue in decanalcz! This map still has a little bug that I think it can't be fixed (bullets 'impact' on the air shooting under the bombsite's bridge) or you can get stuck in the air if you jump on the right side of the ramp near CT's base (right path) at csarcticbiolabcz even though nothing's there.
Again, thank you. Thanks for the reply!;) The Counter-Strike Online.nav files are indeed pretty worthless, but for now I've used the official overviews for all of the maps (except for dedazzling and detoscana where I made minor modifications) even though some of them have apparent problems. The CZ and CS retail overviews are created from scratch though. My plans are that for version 1.00 of the pack I'd replace the CSO ones with apparent problems with proper ones created from scratch. I have no plans to actually convert maps from different game modes to ones supported by the original Counter-Strike/Condition Zero. Checkmate was a special case since it seems like it was actually originally meant to be a simple dm/annihilation map but this was changed later on (some places still call it dmcheckmate).
Besides the map is pretty much identical in both directions so it was a perfect fit for annihilation mode. But regarding the zombie maps, considering that CSN:Z is also available by now I don't think it's that needed anymore either. (And I've not been playing the unofficial zombie mods enough to know how to make maps compatible with those.) dmunion is actually included so I don't quite see what you mean, unless you mean converting it to a defusal map which I've seen available in some places. But since I'm no professional mapper I really don't know if such changes would result in a balanced map. And it doesn't seem like it was ever meant to be a defusal map anyway even though the layout in general is quite a good fit. I have actually made a private update where I have updated the maps that have since been officially updated (deturkey and dedust0) and added a new compatible map (fyiceworld) but I haven't yet released it. I've been made aware of the fact that destorm was actually updated by the author (released as destorm2) but for some reason never officially put into circulation and I'm planning on having that map also included in the next update.
My plans are actually to finish this minor update by the end of the month. The readme actually mentions plans of including all the beta maps but honestly it is a monsterous task and thus far I've only finished 2 of the 24 maps that I've planned to include so it is quite far from being released. My plans are still to eventually finish it, but I have no idea how long it might take. Not to mention that the bots have serious problems with some of the maps. As for the bugs you've mentioned in the beta CZ maps, the fact that the black texture thing was fixable in decanal was just a pure strike of luck.

I don't know how well versed you are in the map format, but usually such changes would require decompiling of the actual map but in this case it seems like they had actually tried to set the texture as transparent but just used the wrong value. Had it not been done, the map would have been needed to be decompiled to fix the issue. I'm sure you have tried the leaked version of debridge, and in that map these transparency issues are not fixable without actually decompling the map (not to mention there are plenty of more issues that would be needed to be fixed, so decompiling would be necessary anyway). I'm aware of the bug with the bridge in decanal, but unfortunately it wouldn't be fixable without decompiling the map.
There are a few other oddtites with the map that would also require decompilation to fix (e.g. There is one vertex/polygon/side missing from the signs that display the canal logo resulting in them having kind of a hole in them). The bug in csarcticbiolab sounds similar though I haven't personally noticed it.

I don't think decompiling the maps would be worth it in these cases (since it would likely cause more additional bugs than fixing the few smaller issues). Debridge is another case entirely and decompiling it would be required to make in anywhere near what I'd consider a playable state. As a side note, I've tried to make contact with authors of CZ maps that were designed during its development but never released/leaked. Alas, I've had no luck yet getting any of them to release anything:(. The main problem seems to lie in the fact that Gearbox Software owns the rights to these maps. While a few of the developers continue to work on the new site design, fixing up bugs, improving page load time performance and responding to useful critiques and suggested improvements to the UI and UX from users, I wanted to take some time out to announce a new feature that a few of our other developers are currently working on that we plan to launch in the first quarter of 2018. A new year's resolution of sorts, if you will. The new functionality I want to talk about today is something I've wanted to do for a long time. Indeed, I initially pitched this idea in the mod author forums back in A. We're currently implementing stage 2 of our redesign soft launch process and as such, you might experience a few oddities and/or get thrown about a bit between the old and new designs as we gradually implement the changes and stress test things.
Stage 2 is moving the nexusmods.com domain over to the new design so by default, users will be on the new design. During this time we're still allowing users to access the old website design via.
If during our stress tests we find that there are some issues that need fixing that might negatively impact the performance of the sit. It's time for a Vortex development update!
Since our last we have setup a focus group of around 30 individuals who have been given access to an early build alpha of Vortex using a rudimentary design and UX flow. Tannin has been working with these users, taking on their feedback and patching up bugs that have been found over the past couple of months. At this stage, the core functionality is all done and now it's a matter of rounding off any rough edges and patching up any holes the focus group can find.
While Tannin has been working on the overall functionality of the appli. Hello everyone, The time is almost upon us as we near the official release of our redesign. We're now ready to share the redesign with all of you in the hopes that you can help us in identifying the remaining issues before we officially go live and change the site over. We're doing a very soft launch of this redesign.
In September we provided the mod authors with access to the new site to receive their feedback and bug hunting help and a few weeks ago we provided the link to the new redesign in our forums and on the SkyrimMods subreddit. I want to thank all the users who have helped us in identi. Update: Thank you to all the applicants and submissions, please note that this position is now filled. We're looking for a UI Designer/front end developer to join our team at our office in Exeter, UK. The ideal candidate will be multi skilled with experience working with HTML/CSS/JS for both websites and desktop applications. Your primary short term role will be to help design and shape our new desktop application 'Vortex' which is replacing the Nexus Mod Manager. This application uses Electron, so the front end is rendered in HTML/CSS/JS.

In the long term, you'll be the major creative driving f. This week in our Staff Picks - Terrorfox1234 shows he has a heart and looks to rehome an elderly gentleman, SirSalami goes all Hitman and sneaks around Skyrim dressed in the clothes of his enemies, Svariato decides that they are going to begin sinking oils back like they are shots to grant various powers to their characters and weapons, and I go all John Woo and decide that I'm going to run through the Fallout 4 wasteland taking pot shots at the limbs of all those who offend or attack me! If you have any comments then please leave them below and if you have any of your own picks then get them. We have been gearing up for some time to get ready to rebuild the thumbnails for over 2.5 million images that you’ve all uploaded over the years so that they are a much higher quality for the new website design that we've been working on. We kicked off this rebuilding process at the start of last week, and it is now complete.
The higher quality thumbnails may take some time to filter down through our various CDN providers as they are heavily cached. Some of you may have noticed over the last few weeks a few subtle changes that we've made to the way thumbnail images are displayed on the websit.
This week we have some cracking picks for you all to take a look. SirSalami has found an incredible dodge mod for Skyrim that not only adds an ability for you to dodge attacks, but also your enemies. I have a Star Wars based mod from nubyplay that I have had great fun checking out (frazzling enemies with lightning or sending them skyward never seems to get old), Terrorfox1234 has multicolored torches with a variety of uses, and Robbie922004 has come through again yet with a great pick and write up for 'Revenge of the Sleeves' for XCOM: Enemy Unknown. We love to hear the communities picks so. It's been awhile since we mentioned our work on the new mod manager. For a quick recap of 'recent' events, back in August 2016 we brought on Tannin (of Mod Organizer fame) to head up work on a completely new mod manager for Nexus Mods. He's been working on it along with the two original NMM programmers ever since.
Tannin's remit is simple on the surface, we want a mod manager for Nexus Mods that can handle modding for as many games as possible and that can be both simple for newcomers to use while containing (or supporting) all the advanced functionality users have come to expect from mod manag. This week they are all picks from within our Bethesda games. Terrorfox couldn't decide on just one mod, so has actually chosen 4 from the same author, all of which add additional beasties or variants of into your Skyrim game. I have chosen a mod that I think really adds a bit of variety to an otherwise annoying (but necessary) part of gaming - fast travel. SirSalami has also addressed one of his gaming pet-peeves of only being able to save a game from retiring to a bed by looking at a mod that allows far more diversity in save locations.
